Raise money for your Student Organization during Glow Big Red!

Glow Big Red offers Husker students a unique chance to raise funds that will go directly back to your student organization. We encourage you to utilize social media to spread the word and reach out to alumni, other students, parents, friends, professors and anyone else you can recruit to support your group’s efforts.

All student groups who participate will compete to win bonus dollars for their organization:

Student Organizations:

$500 will be awarded to the group with the most donors by noon on Feb. 13.
$500 will be awarded to the group with the most dollars raised by noon on Feb. 13.
Student groups who achieve 20 or more donors will earn an additional $200.

Greek Chapters:

$500 will be awarded to the Greek Chapter with the most donors by noon on Feb. 13.
$500 will be awarded to the Greek Chapter with the most dollars raised by noon on Feb. 13.
Greek Chapters who achieve 20 or more donors, will earn an additional $200.

How to register:

Starting Dec. 3, register for Glow Big Red here. You must represent a student organization recognized with Student Leadership, Involvement, & Community Engagement to participate. Please register for Glow Big Red by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025!

What’s next:

In February, you will receive a Glow Big Red toolkit which includes a link to your fundraising page. Once you have this link, send it to your members, your alumni, parents, friends, etc., and be sure to post it to your social media accounts with the hashtag #GlowBigRed.
A representative from your group will also need to attend an informational online meeting on February 5 at 6:00.

Fees:

Student groups are advised that any funds raised through Glow Big Red are subject to advancement fees. Funds raised through this giving day will be available to student groups, less fees, approximately 45-60 days after the event.
